Christmas time

Vacation is almost here. This time is beginning the holiday season. There are a lot of events in the end of a year like Thanksgiving, Black-Friday, Christmas, and New Year. I like all of these events because I can enjoy many parties, meet friends and try different kind of foods. However, if I have only one choice, I would prefer the Christmas time. Let me explain why I choose that special holiday.

First, Christmas is the longest vacation in a year, which is around two weeks. Therefore, people have more time to take a rest, to travel, or to spend time with family. About me, I have 1 month break for vacation, so it is the time to traveling around the US. Because in the summer vacation, I went back to my country; so only this time, I stay in here without studying and plan to discover America. Second, this time is the end of the year, so the weather is cold down. Especially, some places have snow. I really like to play with snow even it's very cold and I would be easy getting sick. Perhaps, someone think it's crazy, but it is my hobby, I like snow. Last but not least, the last month of the year is also my birthday month because I was born on Dec 29th. After Christmas time, my special time is coming and I usually get many presents and a lot of birthday greetings from my dear friends and my family. Therefore this is my happiness time that I always looking for.

Sushi

Like Ms. Heather, I'm a picky eater, and I don't want to try any new foods. Moreover, when I was a child, I had just eaten foods which are cooked by my mom or my grandmother. Therefore, I didn't have chance to try new foods which I called strange foods. For example, I had never tried to eaten non-cook foods such as sashimi or sushi. After I came to the US., my friend invited me to go to a Japanese restaurant, which sells only sushi and sashimi. At first, I thought that I couldn't eat anything in there. My friend encouraged me and showed me how to eat sushi. Finally, I tried to eat sushi combine with a little wassabi. That was my first time I can feel how delicious sushi and sashimi are. I also can feel non-cook food is fresh and has a different flavor of each kind of meats. And now, I can say that I'm addicted to sushi. I hope that I can try other new foods and like to eat them like I like to eat sushi.

Living Alone - My Scary Experience

I have had a lot of scary experiences in my life, because I'm very timid. However, I want to tell a story that I had in America. This was the first time I have lived alone in a big house in America for 3 months. All of my cousins had to work and live far from my house, and I had arrived in the US nearly 2 months. Everything seemed strange, and adapting in a new environment was very difficult to me at that time.
Everyday, when I finished classes and came back home, I was very nervous. I always worried about how to solve the problem when I live alone, what I should do when a person attach me. Sometimes, I used to think that I will give up or I'll come back to my country.
However, after few weeks, I familiar with my situation, and I knew that my house area is very safety. Moreover, my family and my friends always encourage me to be stronger. I thought that I could overcome this problem, and I have to learn how to live alone. I felt better, and throughout the time to live alone, I have had learn a lot of useful experiences. Finally, after 3 months, my cousins came back. I don't have to live alone anymore. That was an impress scary experience when I've lived in America.

My Dream Job

My major is business, and I want to become a successful business woman in my country. However, I used to dream to become a doctor. This sound likes strange because business and doctor are not connection.

Most of members, such as my uncles, my aunts, and my cousins, in my father's family are doctors, I'm absolutely admired all of them because they always help people in dangerous cases even in midnight or in their vacation. Therefore, when I was a child, I though that I should be a doctor like them. I thought that when I become a doctor, I could cure patients, my family members, and myself. Moreover, I could have chance to help poor people throughout my volunteer job.

Unfortunately, I can't do my dream come true because I'm very afraid of blood and death. In fact, I realized that I'm more suitable for business than for doctor, so I changed my mind and decided to become a business woman. I think that if I can success in business, I can support money to some of charity organizations to help poor people or orphan children. It is also one of my dreams.

The King wanted to verify the soldier had truth love with the princess or not. After the challenge, the King sympathy the couple love story and concurred them to get married. Finally, the wedding happened for the next two weeks and it was the biggest wedding in the peaceful country.

My First Impression

Firts time I went to California, the most impression was the traffic systems in here. In my country, streets, roads and highways are very narrow; therefore the average of speed around 40-80km/h. On the other hand, there are a lot of freeways and highways in California, so people drive very fast, around 100-120 km/h. I felt very tired and dizzy with the high speed when I was on car. After few weeks left, I was familiar with this and feel more comfortable. Although I had feel strange in the first time, I adapted and like the traffic systems in here.
